Artist. Optimist. Lover of old houses, good coffee, and meaningful conversation. Looking for a genuine relationship and, eventually, a family.
Originally from Massachusetts, I grew up fascinated by New England history and the stories places hold. After studying art in California and earning my master's degree in London, I moved to New York to build my career as an artist. There was another reason, too. My parents met in a bar on the Upper East Side in 1975 and married a few years later. I always loved that story, and a part of me wondered if New York might have a love story waiting for me, too.
Over the past decade, I've built a creative life here that I'm incredibly grateful for. I have my own art studio, a wonderful community of friends, and a life filled with museums, quaint neighborhoods, Brooklyn brownstones, hiking trails, eclectic upstate towns, drawing sessions, and mornings that begin with a walk through my local park and a good cup of coffee or tea.
I've been known to take the impassable trail, both literally and figuratively. I admire the grit it takes to build something from nothing, and I still believe in love and romance, even in a city that sometimes makes both feel improbable.
I'm hoping to meet someone kind, emotionally mature, intellectually curious, and excited to build a thoughtful life together.
